This will be a One Year Aniversary Celerbration Tournament.
Up-to-date Rules as of 1/26/04

$10 a division
$5 for GGXX
DDR DIVISIONS
There will be 3 divisions:
1. 7-foot Limit PA (7FL)
2. No foot Limit PA (NFL)
3. Freestyle (FS)
The tournament will go in the above order.
Tournament will be single elimination.
ALL GAMES will be done on the DDR Extreme machines. 4th Plus and DDRMAX2 will be open for regular play.
If entering the PA divisions, please register before 12. Tournament will start promptly at noon. If registering for freestyle, you MUST be registered BEFORE freestyle starts. No more of this "let me see how he does first" business.
The PA divisions will be brackets of 16 each. You may not enter both PA divisions, only one or the other.
Higher seed picks pad. First song chosen by lower seed, second by higher seed. Third song is picked by the random function (on Heavy). For the semi-finals and finals rounds, the random song will be on Challenge difficulty. If there is a tie, game score is used to determine the winner. If for some reason game score can not be determined (had to restart set or something) a tie breaker song will be played.
The top 16 people qualify for each division. IF YOU DO NOT QUALIFY, YOU ARE OUT, OVER AND DONE.
Prizes
All money from both PA divisions will be pooled together.
1st NFL: ~33%
2nd NFL: ~16%
1st 7FL: ~17%
2nd 7FL: ~8%
We are doing this to keep the major emphasis of the tournament on the NFL division.
1st FS: 50%
2nd FS: 25%
GGXX DIVISION
And rules are:
Best two out of three matches. For those who don't know, p1 vs p2 is a "match", during the p1 vs p2 match there is a best 2 out of 3 rounds (or in GGXX's case, duels). So in all, you'll have to beat someone in at least 4 duels to win (winning 2 duels in the first match, 2 in the second or third).
And double elimination, punks. Says teh Phrek. I have no idea about the prize, Eddie/Brian will figure that out.
